HIKING

One thing about Boise is that we love the outdoors! There are so many hikes around the area, even in biking distance from the city. For example, the first photo is sunset at our beloved Table Rock, it offers a great view of the landscape and of our community.

Time on the Water

The Boise River nearby is an awesome opportunity to experience a good float, plunge and or swim! It is just minutes away from the homestead.  Another great convenience is arrow rock, and lucky peak about a half hour away. These are great locations for kayaking and boating.

LOCAL ART SCENE

Freak Alley is one of many artsy attractions of our city. )Pictured above) It is a spotlight for our local artists to display their talents, and brings awe and curiosity into those who walk by. Here you also may find people performing arts such as busking or even spinning fire! Our community is alive with creatives around every corner.

BIKING

With the Green Belt very close by, this area is incredibly biker friendly. The green belt stretches all the way from Eagle Idaho, up into Sandy Point at Lucky Peak. It is conveniently placed along our city as well, giving great access to many restaurants and local businesses. In close proximity to the Homestead we also have the Train Depot(great for sunrises and sunsets) as well as Julia Davis and Ann Morrison park.

Winter Festivities

Here is Boise, we love it when it snows, for so many reasons. It is promising for our year ahead, and it also creates an amazing ski season up at Bogus Basin. We also have other fun winter activities, such as ice skating and our Holiday celebrations.

Support our Locals

In Idaho, we appreciate our local businesses very much, creating a thriving and creative economy. Some of the businesses we recommend  are Roots Zero Waste ( depicted above) and....
